Beatriz Abbott, Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
Beatriz Abbott
Licensed Mental Health Counselor (License #LH61654988), Mental Health Professional (MHP). Sage-Think Counseling LLC founder. Beatriz worked for Catholic Community Services Western Washington for 30 years. Beatriz has extensive experience with immigrant and refugee youth in the foster care system. Work included support to our newest Americans in their adjustment and transition to self-sufficiency and becoming contributing members of our community. Beatriz also has a strong background working with adults who have experienced homelessness or housing instability, and who have high behavior health needs, some of whom are veterans. Beatriz completed her master's in Psychology at Chapman University with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy. Beatriz is a Certified Specialist in Anger Management (CSAM, Evergreen #313953), and has received training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Processing. Beatriz is also certified through the University of Washington as a Parenting Instructor for delivery of the Promoting First Relationships (PFR) curriculum.
Cirel Hoover, Family Support & Early Childhood Specialist

Cirel Hoover is a bilingual (Spanish /English) family support and early childhood specialist, with academic training in psychology. She has extensive experience supporting children, caregivers, and families in community-based settings.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a master's degree in Psychological Intervention for Children and Adolescents. Her work focuses on early childhood social-emotional development, strengthening caregiver-child relationships, and parent education using evidence-based, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive approaches.
Cirel has facilitated and implemented programs such as Promoting First Relationships (PFR), Triple P – Positive Parenting Program, and Circle of Security, providing psycho-educational support, family coaching, and group facilitation. She has over 15 years of experience working with Spanish-speaking and immigrant families in Washington State.
Cirel is also the Founder of Momfox Social Purpose Corporation, a Washington State Social Purpose Corporation focused on community-based, family-centered, and culturally responsive programs.
